SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR VOLUNTEER
The Social Media Coordinator will assist our Chief Operations Manager with social media calendar management, content research, platform monitoring, analysis, and more.
Our social media presence is vital in supporting our organization’s mission of delivering compassionate innovative mental health services that empower individuals and families to overcome barriers and significant life challenges to achieve more fulfilling, resilient, and self-sufficient lives.
Duties | Responsibilities

- Assist with maintaining and updating Quarterly Calendar.
- Conduct research into mental health topics, other organizations, collaborators, prominent mental health leaders, and more.
- Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and YouTube.
- Track social media engagement and study analytics to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.
- Understand the mission of the company, including the brand, client, donor, strategic plan, and all other aspects of service delivery.
- Prepare ideas for planned campaign ideas and provide suggestions for improving customer experience on social platforms.
- Create performance reports.
Required Skills | Abilities

- Working knowledge of social media platforms.
- Entry-level understanding of marketing strategy and how to use the concepts throughout various forms of outreach
- Creating and managing multiple social media accounts, developing content to inform, educate and engage the brand’s audience to increase awareness and achieve marketing goals.
- Ability to learn nonprofit marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field.
- 1-2 years of social media management experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Office Suites, Google Suites, and Canva.
- Ability to work alongside a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once.

- Social media marketing knowledge preferred.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management.
- Internet research skills preferred.
- Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance preferred.
- Experience with content management systems, word processor applications and image/video editing software preferred.
Physical Requirements

- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
- Physical effort required includes standing, sitting, bending, stooping, lifting (up to 20 lbs), talking and hearing.
PROGRAM SPECIALIST VOLUNTEER
The Program Specialist will administer all aspects of the organization’s volunteer program including recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers.
Supervisory Duties

- Recruits, interviews, screens, trains, and supervises (or assigns) volunteer staff.
Job Responsibilities
-
- Communicates with all departments of the organization to identify available opportunities and needs for volunteers.
- Recruits volunteer staff to fit these roles using a variety of resources and techniques.
- Gathers information about each volunteer’s skills, availability, and goals; matches volunteers with appropriate opportunities based on this data.
- Schedules, coordinates, and assigns volunteers to appropriate departments, supervisors, and/or mentors.
- Regularly communicates with volunteers to ensure placement is a good fit for individual’s skills and goals.
- Maintains files, records, applications, and other data concerning volunteer program.
- Drafts, maintains, and publishes guidelines, best practices, and procedures for volunteer program.
- Coordinates volunteer recognition and appreciation events and activities.
- Performs other related duties as required.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and encourage others.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field highly preferred.
Physical Requirements

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
